A: Look at the block where it says h22. jdm is H22A,.. while the usdm is H22A1……the number after the A is a country code, no number is jdm

A: when you change the fluid you will not get all the fluid out the torque convertor will still have 3-4qts in it so you’ll only need to get 3-4 qts put about 2 1/2 qts in then start car and add a little more till it reads on top of stick move car a couple of feet then check again till it is full always check in neutral and use honda approved fluid if you don’t you’ll get harsh shifts

A: yes you can hook both amps to the radio and you only need a four channel amp that matches the total rms and ohms of all the speakers

A: I own a 2000 Honda Prelude and you don’t need to use premium gas, you can use regular unleaded and it will drive just fine. So get the lude and you won’t be disappointed, they are great cars and very rare and better then any civic you see around. They perform better, have more power and handle better then any civic and look a lot better too. Good luck!
@John Yes you can use regular unleaded gas on a Honda Prelude. I drive one and always use it and never used premium gas, you don’t need to check into it when I already know you drive with it. Also the Prelude has a H22a4 VTEC engine and drives fine with regular gas.

I want to make my 2001 automatic Prelude into a stick and i got offered all the parts i need, but its from an SH model prelude. My question is would that work.
A: No, it won’t even bolt up properly to your engine block. The jdm Type S transmission is the same thing. But any other H-series or F-series transmission will work. Unfortunately, that just happens to be 1 of 2 transmissions that is different. Both those transmissions come with ATTS, Active Torque Transfer System. The way the ATTS works, it needs to mate up with the engine block, where the half shaft is with a normal engine. Not to mention all the electronics and stuff that you would need to hook up to make the ATTS work anyways.
Q: What are the odds of a Honda Prelude being Faster than a Skyline GTR?
The prelude would be a stock standard 2000 model Honda Prelude VTIR.
What are the odds of both cars being un internally modified and stock standard and the prelude being faster than the GTIR?
A: No chance what so ever with both being stock the GTR models on paper where 276bhp due to regs in Japan until Jan 05 but Nissan let those cars out at around 330bhp and as we know still detuned with actual internal running power at around 600bhp.
The Skyline also features attessa also which already makes it fast off the line.
Also 0-60 times of the GTR on paper are rubbish also as when i took my then stock R33 GTS25T for a test run it ran a GTR 0-60+ time.
The Prelude is a nice car i borrowed one for a few weeks once and enjoyed it.
The chevy is a nice car as for the Skyline it has nothing to prove it has been around since 1957 and won a mass of races over those years and even still today is used by top tuning companies and owns the awd drag record and used at drift events,the R32 GTR led to motor racing rules being chnaged due to winning so often and rules then stopped it taking part in that class.

Heres the deal, i’m getting my rack and pinion replaced on my 2000 prelude, also getting a tune up,new front rotors and brakes, oil change, and wheel aligment and balance, the shop is charging me $1000. Is this a good price or to hight.
A: o wow for a 1000 i would say your getting a smoking deal cuz i work at shop and just the rack and pinion job itself costs around 800 to do so yea good deal on that one

Would buying a one owner, all stock 2000 Honda Prelude with 110,000 miles be a bad move. It’s a five speed and has been taken care of. I can get it for $5000.

Q: Does the Singer Prelude sewing machine work for quilting?
I am interested in taking up quilting to make cat beds, lap blankets and bed quilts etc. I was wondering if there was any reason the Singer Prelude wouldn’t work for these things since in my research I saw they have specific machines for quilting.
A: You can use any machine for quilting. The ones specified as “quilting” just have some extra features. I use a machine that I bought in the late 60s and it works just fine.
The hard part of doing the actual quilting stitches via machine, is dealing with all the fabric. I recommend your first project be something small. Get some experience before you go for a bed sized quilt.

Q: What manual transmissions will fit my Prelude B21A Engine?
I have a 1991 Honda Prelude Si States model with the B21A engine. Are there any other model prelude manual transmissions that will fit this engine? Cheers.
A: You can put in a b20a transmission. You will need to use the pressure plate from the b20 though. The axles @ the wheel end are different too. I don’t think it is worth it. You may just want to stick with another b21 trans. Sorry this motor is not capatable with any other B series parts.
Q: What is the mechanical buzzing sound on my Honda Prelude?
Everytime I start my 2001 Honda Prelude, and drive about 10 feet, I feel something vibrate and buzz somewhere underneith towards the engine. I can feel it slightly come up the steering wheel. It is very mechanical and I dont think it is a bad thing nor do I think anything is wrong; I just want to know what it is.

A: i own a 98 prelude, same generation as yours, its the ABS performing a self test every time you start the car. So yeah you don’t have to worry about that buzzing! It’s perfectly normal and not an issue.

A: Turn the flywheel. The needle may be caught. Check to see.
